Last Thursday the Aztech team took on Locked in a Room in the Theatre District, Milton Keynes.
We signed up for Timelock, an escape room where you are respected scientists who are individually working on a secret government funded project in laboratories, located in an abandoned warehouse in the Theatre District of Milton Keynes.
One of the scientists, Professor Samuel Pottenger, has been dragged kicking and screaming along the corridor by unknown armed assailants. To us, he is known as a level headed man of immense intelligence and absolutely not one prone to an emotional outburst - so we had to discover his secret.
Once inside the escape room, we had 60 minutes to find clues and find a way out before the room filled with toxic gas - to our surprise, everyone escaped!
The first team to escape managed to get out with 25 minutes and 10 seconds remaining. They received the award 'Completely Clueless' as their team didn't receive any hints or tips to help with the clues and worked well together to escape.
The second team had 7 minutes and 25 seconds remaining when they escaped and received the award 'Cipher Surfers' as they found a certain clue quicker than the rest of the teams.
The third and final team to escape got out with just 34 seconds remaining and achieved the award 'Battery Hens' as they found the batteries the quickest out of the three teams.
It was an amazing experience and a great way to celebrate the end of another quarter - thank you Locked in a Room for a fantastic evening!
